Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator

Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator required for a leading business in Cannon Hill. The role involves managing the RRTWTC function nationally.

We are seeking a positive and organized individual with experience in Return-to-Work Coordination and relevant training. The ideal candidate will be proactive, confident in working autonomously, and skilled at building effective relationships with all stakeholders.

Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in Return-to-Work Coordination
* Completed relevant training
* Strong knowledge of injury management and workers' compensation legislation
* Current driver’s license

This role is ideal for someone looking to further their career as an RTW professional within a supportive, close-knit team.


The Position

As the RTW Coordinator, you will oversee the RRTWTC function nationally. Your responsibilities will include:

* Acting as the primary contact for injured employees and managers
* Providing rehabilitation and return-to-work support for both work-related and non-work-related injuries
* Managing workers' compensation claims and RTW plans
* Liaising with GPs, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists regarding employee injuries and RTW plans
* Developing and monitoring suitable plans, and supporting leaders to implement them for positive return-to-work outcomes
* Assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures in line with governance frameworks and legislation
* Completing necessary reporting for prompt claim lodgment and early intervention
* Maintaining records in accordance with legislative and business requirements


Skills and Experience

* Sound knowledge of injury management and workers' compensation legislation
* Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator training
* Experience in claims and injury management
* Ability to conduct site visits
* Capability to manage a large caseload from start to finish
