Seeking an experienced lawyer to join our team as a senior associate in health insurance law.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional with a genuine interest in specialising in health insurance law to work on high-value civil litigation and health law matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance law, particularly in health claims, professional indemnity, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
* To deliver end-to-end advice to leading medical defence organisations, doctors, allied health professionals, commercial health insurers, and major private health providers and hospitals.
* To work on complex health law matters, including professional college and training investigations and QCAT cases.
Requirements
* 4+ years of post-graduate experience in insurance law, preferably with experience in health claims, professional indemnity, and/or regulatory matters.
* A genuine interest in specialising in health insurance law.
* Lawyers up to Special Counsel level are encouraged to apply.
