Senior Clinical Nurse Educator - Surgical Wards

This part-time role involves working closely with the Nursing leadership team across the ward and the wider Department of Surgery to support exemplary evidence-based patient-centered care.


About the Role

The successful applicant will facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce and ancillary staff in the clinical inpatient surgical ward. They will plan, promote, coordinate, implement, and evaluate education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices in nursing education and be able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

The position is fixed-term, part-time, working 48 hours per fortnight. The salary range is $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (pro rata). In addition to the base salary, allowances may be available based on qualifications.
