Join Australia’s Leading Sustainable Materials Supplier We are looking for an allrounder to join our Asphalt Plant team. No experience necessary – training provided for the right candidate! Based out of our Dandenong Asphalt Plant, you’ll learn how to run and maintain an ASTEC 300 TPA asphalt plant. You’ll also have opportunities to be trained in other machinery and gain the tickets and permits that come with them. In this hands-on role, you’ll help support the day-to-day operation of the plant and yard. This includes using FEL and asphalt plant computer software to put together asphalt mixes, loading cold feed bins, and moving and pushing up stockpiles throughout the yard. You may also operate equipment such as a Hitachi ZW180 loader, with forklift or bobcat experience highly regarded. You’ll also play an important role in coordinating with crews and customers over the phone. This means communicating clearly, handling enquiries and occasionally problem solving with customers in a calm, solutions-focused way. Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone are essential.
