Brainbox is representing a fast growing client who's looking for a Level 3 IT Technician based in Perth to perform various IT support to clients.

What will you be doing?
As part of the technical team, your role will include:
* Acting as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 service desk tickets
* Troubleshooting advanced server, network and infrastructure issues
* Supporting cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
* Assisting with IT infrastructure projects, deployments and system upgrades
* Identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency and automation
* Creating scripts or automation tools where appropriate
* Mentoring junior technicians and sharing knowledge within the team
* Maintaining clear documentation of systems and solutions
Occasional domestic travel within Australia may be required to support client environments.
A valid driver's licence is required for this role.
Requirements
Who are we looking for?
IT isn't just about technology — it's also about people. As their new Level 3 IT Technician, you will be someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving systems, and supporting both colleagues and clients.
You will work across service desk escalation and technical project work, helping resolve advanced issues while also assisting with infrastructure improvements and deployments.
A strong Level 2 technician with the right mindset and technical capability will also be considered.
Ideally, you will have experience working in an MSP or client-facing IT support environment, along with practical knowledge of:
* Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
* Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
* PowerShell or other scripting/automation tools
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and clients will also be essential.
