They will be responsible for the efficient and safe running of the science labs within the school.
They play a support and facility maintenance role in relation to the Science Learning Area.The Science Laboratory Technician is responsible for the preparation and delivery of materials, stock and standard solutions, specimens and apparatus required for practical work and classroom demonstrations.
They will work as an integral team member of the Science Department, and work alongside the Senior Laboratory Technician.This is a full-time, ongoing position, commencing 1 January 2026.APPLICATIONS CLOSE: Monday, 13 October 2025 at 9:00amResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver materials, stock and standard solutions, specimens and apparatus for practical work and classroom demonstrations.Ensure efficient and safe running of school science laboratories.Provide support and maintenance for the Science Learning Area as part of the Science Department team.Work collaboratively with the Senior Laboratory Technician and other staff as required.QualificationsSuitably qualified and experienced Science Laboratory Technician or equivalent experience.Commitment to safety and best practices in a school laboratory setting.Additional informationServite College is a progressive co-educational Catholic secondary school, inspired by the Charisms of the Servite Order.
