Epiroc Australia Pty Ltd is looking for a Quality Technician based in Welshpool, AU.
The Role
* Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
* Identify, report, and manage non-conformances, including supplier-related issues
* Support root cause analysis and corrective actions (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone)
* Monitor supplier quality performance and coordinate resolutions
* Participate in product, process, and engineering change management
* Track and report quality KPIs and maintain accurate documentation (QMS, SharePoint)
* Perform Gemba walks and engage with production teams to identify risks and improvements
* Ensure calibration and compliance of measuring equipment
* Support commissioning activities and investigate customer warranty issues
About you
* Minimum 5 years experience in a quality role within manufacturing or production
* Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools
* Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
