We are seeking an industrial painter to expand our small team with a view to a genuine long-term full-time position. The successful applicant will be well supported and get to work in a clean workshop.
Qualifications & requirements
* Australian recognised trade certificate
* Able to work on their own or as part of a team
* Forklift licence is an advantage.
* D & A screen - Pre-employment declaration
* Painter apprentices in 3rd or 4th years are encouraged to apply
* Flexible hours - Can be discussed at interview to find hours that suit you.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Preparation and cleaning of surfaces.
* Preparation and mixing of paint
* Stock control and purchasing of supplies
* Finishing and painting of vehicle bodies.
* Finishing and painting of steel structures.
* Use of modern equipment.
* On-site work where required.
