About the role
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager/Property Representative to join our team at @home Property Management in Launceston, TAS. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of residential properties and ensuring the highest standards of service for our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
* Effectively managing the day‑to‑day operations of a portfolio of rental properties, including processing applications, coordinating inspections, and overseeing maintenance and repairs
* Developing and maintaining positive relationships with property owners, tenants, and tradespeople
* Ensuring all properties are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
* Conducting regular property inspections and providing comprehensive condition reports
* Assisting with marketing and leasing of vacant properties (we have letting consultants who attend inspections)
* Effectively resolving any tenant disputes or issues that may arise
* Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all property‑related activities
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a property management or real estate role, ideally within the residential sector
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
* A thorough understanding of relevant property legislation and regulations
* Proficiency in using property management software and other relevant technology
* A proactive, customer‑focused approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
