Town Planning Professional Development Opportunity
The Town Planning Cadetship is a developmental full-time position aimed at nurturing the skills and expertise of an emerging town planner. As part of this cadetship, you will be working closely with experienced council employees in the Statutory Planning team to gain valuable industry insights and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in statutory planning, development assessment, compliance, and policy initiatives.
* Engage in urban, rural, and environmental planning projects, collaborating with the Statutory Planning team to drive project success.
* Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, contributing to innovative solutions and project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in or studying a Bachelor of Planning at a registered training organisation.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email/internet programs.
* Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Able to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Benefits:
* A competitive salary range: $58,494.80 - $63,980.80 gross per year.
