Job Description:
Occupational Therapist Role
Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have a work-related or non-work-related injury, or who have experienced a work-debilitating illness. Conduct assessments such as initial needs, workplace assessments, ergonomics and activities of daily living.
Conduct specialist functional and pre-employment assessments for corporate customers (e.g., audiometry, spirometry, D&A testing). Identify future employment or training options by reviewing transferable skills, qualifications and interests.
Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward return-to-work goals. Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy
* Be eligible for AHPRA accreditation upon graduating
* Have graduated within the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
* Be eligible to be Comcare accredited (desirable)
* Obtain a current Working with Children Check and have a clear national criminal check
* Hold a full drivers' license
