About the Job
The Shire of Esperance is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our highly valued Information Services team in the role of Business Systems Analyst. The position will ensure the Shire's corporate software is aligned with best practice business processes and provide solutions and process improvements where required.
This is a full time position working 38 hours per week.
Duties include:
- Assess and scope the Shire's technology needs, document business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement.
- Simplify complex technical concepts to help with flow of information between internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to projects such as module implementations, system upgrades and process improvements.
- Provide training and technical support for staff in the use of the Shire's corporate systems and processes.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary level qualifications and/or at least three years experience in a similar position.
- Strong analysis and interpretive skills.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgement to anticipate and solve problems.
- Developed time management skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team or with minimal supervision.
Salary: $82,317.00 - $87,885.00 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience, plus superannuation
