Currently experiencing growth, this is an exciting time to join this organisation, which is looking for a Senior Regional Account Manager.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Head of Distribution, your primary objective is to achieve the agreed sales and retention targets via Independent Financial Advisers, Major Licensees, Wealth Managers, Middle Markets and any other approved distribution channels in your territory. Maintaining a current and accurate database of supporting advisers and Wealth Managers and developing and implementing specific sales strategies to achieve the agreed sales targets. You will be able to build relationships in your team whilst closely working with broader parts of the business, such as Product and Marketing. You must promote the product suite efficiently and effectively, track progress, seize opportunities and gain client and market intelligence.
**Duties**
- Develop strong relationships with appropriate Advisers, Wealth Managers and prospects to meet both team and individual inflow targets
- Assist Advisers and Wealth Managers in building their business's utilising the products and services provided
- Maintain relationships and information flow to stem investment outflows
- Develop account plans and strategies to manage relationships and grow FUM to meet targets
- Effectively educate Advisers and related parties on the benefits of Managed Funds for end users
- Assist Advisers and Wealth Managers with portfolio construction materials
- Utilise Salesforce to maintain accurate data and pipeline reporting
- Input information for collating and maintaining data on insights and feedback from advisers and related parties at a product level
- Present products and strategies to external parties to promote their use and increase FUM
- Assist advisers in conducting public seminars on strategies related to Australian Unity and its funds
- Manage internal and external relationships to enable efficient and effective achievement of desired business and sales outcomes
- Contribute and collaborate within the group
- Ensure effective risk management practices and controls exist to protect clients and the business
**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualification, preferably related to finance and investment
- Post graduate qualification or CFA designation well regarded
- Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in financial services or business environment, preferably with a focus on investments, analysis, accounting, or a similar discipline
- Proven success in a business development role
- Broad knowledge of products administered in the financial services industry
- Sophisticated skills in analysis, building the story and capturing the attention of others in the delivery of the message
- Ability to interpret research and market data
- Collaborative style, proactive and a bias for making things happen
