Operations Coordinator - Cleaning & Grounds

About The Role
At Mai‐Wel, the Operations Coordinator leads the day‐to‐day operations of the cleaning & grounds maintenance enterprise, ensuring high‐quality service delivery, safe operations, and positive customer experiences. The role includes leading and mentoring staff, managing resources and budgets, and working closely with internal teams to support employment pathways and skill development for participants.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations including rostering, job scheduling, reporting, and contract delivery
* Lead, train, and support staff, including participants engaged through NDIS Employment Pathways
* Ensure compliance with WHS, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures
* Oversee equipment, assets, and supplier relationships
* Monitor budgets, costs, and financial performance
* Deliver consistent, high‐quality customer service and respond to feedback
* Collaborate with internal teams to support transitional employment outcomes
* Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and community partners
Position Details
* Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
* Hours: 38 hours per week
* Location: Maitland (travel across sites required)
* Salary: SCHADS Award Level 4
