The Opportunity
Sante Recruitment is partnering with a major regional referral hospital in Queensland to appoint a Consultant General Surgeon.
This is a full-time, substantive position within a well-established, high-volume surgical service, offering a broad case mix across both elective and emergency general surgery.
You will work within a consultant-led model, contributing to operative care, peri-operative management, and ongoing service development.
This opportunity is ideally suited to surgeons seeking strong operative volume, clinical variety, and long-term stability within a major regional centre.
The Hospital & Surgical Services
This is a 320-bed regional referral hospital serving a population of over 250,000 across the Darling Downs.
* Broad general surgery (elective and emergency)
* 24/7 acute surgical admissions

Requirements
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS – General Surgery)
* Eligible for, or holding, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Specialist Registration
* International Medical Graduates assessed by RACS as partially or substantially comparable
