About the role
Join SA Pathology as a Calibration Engineer or Calibration Engineering Technician and play a key role in supporting reliable, high quality laboratory services. In this hands‐on role, you will calibrate, maintain and repair biomedical equipment and instrumentation, ensuring systems operate safely and meet required standards.
Working as part of a small multidisciplinary team, you will apply your technical expertise to deliver timely support, contribute to continuous improvement and liaise with laboratory staff, contractors and external partners. Across both levels, you will help ensure equipment performance supports accurate testing and patient care outcomes.
About You
You are a technically skilled professional who delivers reliable, high quality calibration services and thrives in a hands‐on environment. You bring strong problem solving ability, clear communication and a commitment to safe, accurate outcomes.
* Engineering degree or technical diploma in a relevant field
* Experience in calibrating, maintaining and repairing complex equipment
* Strong problem solving, organisation and technical skills
* Work independently and contribute effectively within a team
