We are seeking experienced Automotive Electrician to join our Clients Fleet Installation Team in
Fulham Gardens, SA. This is a Government Client for a 3-month Temporary contract assignment.
You will play a crucial role in implementing new electronic solutions by fitting out a diverse fleet of vehicles. This is a chance to apply your specialist trade skills in a dynamic project workplace.
The Opportunity
You will be on the tools, focusing on installations.
Responsibilities
- Installations: Precisely fitting and integrating docking stations, chargers, brackets, and other electronic gear into our vehicles, making sure everything meets strict safety and quality standards.
- Wiring Work: Modifying and adjusting existing power runs and mounts to make sure the new equipment fits and functions perfectly.
- Quality Check: Giving every vehicle a thorough check to ensure the installation is top-notch before it heads back out.
- Teamwork & Admin: Working closely with the rest of the Fleet Installation Team, helping out other trades when needed, and logging all your work accurately on the system.
Requirements:
- Trade Ticket: A Trade Certificate as an Auto Electrician or equivalent qualification.
- Licence: Must hold a full, current Driver's Licence.
- Solid auto electrical experience in a workshop setting.
- Excellent knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems in passenger and light commercial vehicles (diesel/petrol).
- You're a problem-solver, highly detail-oriented, a good communicator, and can manage your time well.
