Key Responsibilities:
Responsible in planning and leading the conduct of process reviews; financial, basic/general information system, operational and compliance audits related to the Office of the Chief Finance Officer; and communicating the result thereof, to assist the key process owners in the achievement of their objectives.
The position includes evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of established internal controls, formulation of recommendations and communicating audit results to provide reasonable assurance on the following:
* Accurate, reliable and timely significant financial, managerial and operating information are provided to stakeholders;
* Proper classification, accounting and recording of transactions in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., International Financial Reporting Standards);
* Compliance to existing internal policies and procedures as well as to rules and regulations promulgated by regulatory bodies (e.g., BIR, ERC, SEC, DOE, BOC, etc.); and
* Continuous improvement based on standards and/or best practices, process efficiency, and cost control applicable to areas under review
Requirements:
* Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Preferably Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA).
* 3 years of audit experience (internal/external) or 4 years of relevant experience (e.g., Internal/External Audit, Engineering experience as applicable).
* Preferably with knowledge in SAP, Audit Management Tool/ System (e.g., TeamMate+).
