Your Impact:
As a Mental Health Clinician – Early Psychosis, you'll:
* Provide screening, assessment, and therapeutic interventions for young people experiencing symptoms of psychosis
* Deliver evidence-based, recovery-oriented care using a collaborative, empowerment-focused approach
* Build strong rapport with young people, including Aboriginal young people and their families
* Conduct complex risk assessments and develop safety and care plans
* Work flexibly across individual, group, and community settings
* Maintain high-quality clinical records and contribute to continuous improvement
* Represent headspace Darwin at community events and awareness sessions
What You'll Bring:
* Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing)
* Registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body (e.g. AASW)
* Minimum 1 year experience in youth mental health or related field
* Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting young people, including co-morbidities
* Experience working with culturally diverse groups and a commitment to culturally safe practice
* Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
