We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Noise Amelioration Plan Coordinator. This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the development, consultation, and submission of Melbourne Airport's proposal for delivering noise amelioration.
The successful candidate will have excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a range of audiences. They will also possess strong project coordination skills, with experience in managing multiple tasks and workstreams.

The Noise Amelioration Plan Coordinator will play a key role in shaping the future of aviation and contributing to the success of Melbourne Airport. They will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that is committed to excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support research and benchmarking initiatives to gather informative data for internal and external education
* Coordinate with internal teams to deliverables needed by NAP&P, such as the 'Noise Sharing Plan', Eastern Extension Project, and Master Plan 2027
* Work with communications and engagement teams to deliver collateral and events that effectively disseminate information about NAP&P to the public (in-person and online)
* Coordinate consultations between the Head of NAP&P and external stakeholders
* Assist in drafting and collating submissions for Ministerial approval
* Administer contracts, budgets, and reporting processes
Requirements:
* Graduate qualification in aviation, project management, public relations, communications, or related fields
* Experience in research, critical analysis, and problem-solving
* Proven project coordination skills, managing multiple complex tasks and workstreams
* Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to public audiences
* Curiosity, confidence, optimism, tenacity, and a calm demeanor under pressure
* Aviation experience related to community effects, especially aircraft noise
* Understanding of government/stakeholder engagement and consultation processes
* Graphic design and data visualization skills, including GIS
* Experience in community outreach and engagement activities
