Responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of international shipments through customs and regulatory processes. You will collaborate closely with our customers, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate efficient customs clearance operations and maintain regulatory compliance.Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities.Resolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and proactively resolving clearance issues.Collaborate closely with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for efficient and timely clearance.Minimum Education: Secondary education or equivalent.Minimum Experience:At least three (3) years of work experience in Customs.For Associate level, no prior experience is required.For Lead level, at least five (5) years of work experience in Customs, with at least two (2) years at FedEx/TNT.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and trade compliance.Proficient in customs clearance software and online customs portals.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & PC.Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Proven planning and organizing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Pay Transparency:Pay:Additional Details:FedEx is committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce, providing growth opportunities for everyone.
