The role
Our truck driver and offsider volunteers fulfil a number of key roles including:
Providing customers with excellent service
Loading and unloading Vinnies and donor vehicles
Making deliveries
Assisting the driver with deliveries and pick-up of donations
General manual handling
Assisting with cleaning and keeping the distribution centre tidy, whilst maintaining protected work practices
Volunteers should be physically fit as the role requires manual handling.
