About the role An excellent opportunity for a Solicitor to join one of the best Real Estate teams known in the Australian Market. Based in our Melbourne office, you’ll work closely with Partner Andrew Barrett and the broader Real Estate team. You’ll receive hands‑on supervision and continuous training while working across complex matters with a focus on real estate finance, development and investment. Have the opportunity to work with financial institutions, investors and developers on their major projects, investments (both debt and equity) and capital partnering activities. You will gain exposure to the biggest transactions and the biggest participants across all aspects of the capital stack. You will be joining the team at an exciting time, as we return to our Mallesons name. You will have · excellent analytical, communication and research skills - to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice. · first rate written and oral communication skills, strong drafting and legal analysis skills, as well as an ability to get across complex areas of law quickly. · recognised finance /private credit experience gained in a similar environment. · strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability. · you will be self-aware, positive and have the ability to work well with others; being able to collaborate and work in a team.
