Detector Inspector started in 2005 when our two founders, Jason and Jordan, recognised an opportunity to make a difference - we could help make homes safer for renters and make safety compliance easier for property managers.
At DI we share a passion for helping others, we take pride in our work and seek out opportunities to do things better. We're passionate about training, providing career development opportunities and love solving problems to help us achieve our mission of making every home in Australia safer.
Expression of Interest – Electrician Opportunity
As we continue to grow, we are seeking expressions of interest from qualified electricians who may be interested in performing maintenance and testing of smoke detectors (240V and 9V battery-powered) and RCDs in residential properties.
At this stage, we are exploring potential interest and do not have a fixed schedule or number of days available. The work would primarily be based in Albury, with travel to surrounding areas as needed.
We are interested in electricians who are:
* Licensed and able to work independently
* Have or can obtain an ABN (Australian Business Number)
* Comfortable with travel and hold a valid driver's licence
* Professional, self-motivated, and customer-focused
* Familiar with smartphone applications
Please note: Safety comes first at Detector Inspector, as a pre-requisite candidates will be required to complete a National Police Clearance and a Pre-employment Physical Assessment.
