Disability support practitioner

Location: Ryde, NSW, Australia.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate individual who is dedicated to supporting our clients through compassionate care and empowerment. This permanent part‐time vacancy is in our Ryde group home and consists of 32.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to develop and maintain independence and advocate for their individual needs.
• Deliver personalised support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administering medication, and manual handling using a variety of equipment and aids.
• Transport clients in our wheelchair‐accessible vans and pool cars.
• Monitor the well‐being of clients and report on their progress.
• Be part of a fun and dynamic team.

Requirements

• Experience as a carer, DSP, assistant in nursing or aged care (or similar roles).
• A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).
