Our client is seeking a highly organised HSEQ, Store & Site Administrator to support daily operations across safety, HR, stores, travel and general site administration. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established mining contractor and become an integral part of a supportive site team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Site Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all administration functions. This is a busy, hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and confident working in a mining environment.
This position involves 12-hour shifts and requires someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being the go-to person onsite.
* Accurate data entry and maintenance of all project records
* Managing incoming calls, correspondence, and documentation
* Coordinating flights, accommodation, rosters and manning lists
* Supporting onboarding and mobilisation of new employees
* Processing purchase orders, delivery dockets and invoices
* Providing general administrative support to managers, supervisors, HSEQ and maintenance teams
* Coordinating safety documentation, induction bookings and training requirements
* Assisting with workplace inspections, reporting, and incident documentation
* Processing timesheets, leave requests, engagements and terminations
* Preparing employment offers and liaising with new starters
* Maintaining confidential employee files and records
* Ordering and maintaining office supplies and staff amenities
* Liaising with stores and maintenance teams to support site operations
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in a mining or heavy industrial site administration role
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills
* High level of accuracy with data entry and record keeping
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong understanding of safety culture and compliance
* Experience using site systems (e.g., INX, Pronto, ERMS or similar) desirable.
