Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Midwife to join our team in providing clinical care to women accessing the Continuity of Midwifery Care service.
The successful candidate will have practice knowledge to provide the full scope of midwifery care to women and work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife.
* Demonstrated evidence of clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills in midwifery care.
* Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and ability to practice and influence others within a professional and ethical framework that reflects the values of the organization.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within an overall team environment with commitment to ongoing professional development of self and others.
* Demonstrated commitment to clinical research, quality improvement and procedure development and implementation.
* Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate legislation that relates to the position.
* Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills as well as demonstrated computer literacy skills.
