Position Vacant - FIFO Laboratory Technician (ex Cairns Only)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Maxiforce is currently looking for FIFO Laboratory Technician to work with our client, starting immediately.
* Alternating Days and Nights
* Ongoing Roster
* Weekly pay + Super on All hours
The Project:
15/13 roster. Helping the Mine with Sample preparation and analysis, Operating relevant testing equipment, Data collection, General laboratory duties while maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
What you need:
* Minimum Cert III in Laboratory Skills or (other relevant qualifications)
* 2+ years' experience in mining in the same or similar role.
* Radiation Safety Licence (desirable but not essential)
* Current C Class driving licence
* First Aid certification (desirable but not essential)
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
* Understanding of QA/QC processes.
* Ability to Pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test
* Pass our screening process through past employer recommendations.
