Mobility Technician – Repairs, Servicing & Sales - STILL LOOKING

At Scooters Wholesale, we help people stay independent, mobile, and confident. Our family‑run business supports the elderly and disabled community across the Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla and Illawarra through the sale, rental, service and repair of mobility equipment.
What's the role?
This is a varied and meaningful position combining repairs, servicing, in‑home demonstrations and sales support .
You'll work closely with clients, diagnose issues, complete repairs, provide demonstrations, sell and deliver equipment, and ensure people feel confident and safe using their mobility devices.
Responsibilities
* Repairing and servicing mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs and all forms of assistive technology equipment
* Diagnosing technical and mechanical issues both in the workshop and on the road
* Problem‑solving on the spot and ensuring clients feel confident and supported
* Providing in‑home sales and delivery of equipment – assessing client needs, recommending suitable products, providing clear and knowledgeable demonstrations of how the equipment works
* Supporting customers with basic troubleshooting and advice
* Maintaining service records and completing job reports
* Travelling throughout the South Coast region – from Bulli to Ulladulla
Qualifications & Attributes
* Technically minded – confident with hand tools, basic diagnostics, and mechanical problem‑solving
* Experienced with mechanical or electronic equipment – formal trade qualifications not required
* Patient, respectful and customer‑focused – able to work with elderly and disabled clients
* Computer literate – able to complete online job notes
* Organised and reliable – can work independently
* Physically capable – able to lift, carry and manoeuvre equipment
* Licenced to drive – clean driver's licence required
* Willing to obtain – Police Check & NDIS Screening Check
* Vaccinated – up to date with flu and COVID vaccinations
* Previous industry experience is not essential – attitude, aptitude and a willingness to learn are.
Work Arrangement & Benefits
* Weekday work only – Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 4.00
