Operations Manager Role
This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a removals and logistics company. The role involves coordinating and managing all aspects of furniture removal and logistics, from scheduling and team management to vehicle maintenance and warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and allocating removal and delivery jobs
* Assessing loading sites and parking environments for safe and efficient operations
* Managing truck maintenance, servicing, and cleaning
* Overseeing storage and warehouse operations, including inventory control and space utilization
* Supervising and leading drivers and offsiders teams as required
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 5 years experience in removals, logistics, or transport operations
* Proven leadership and management experience in a similar environment
* Hold a Heavy Combination (HC) Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence
* Strong understanding of container loading cubic capacity and removal logistics
* Excellent planning, problem-solving, people-management skills
