About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide non-clinical therapeutic support to individuals, families and groups experiencing social, emotional and/or financial challenges.
This is a permanent Full Time role based in Maryborough.
Key responsibilities include
* Conducting intake assessments, including risk and safety planning
* Developing and delivering family support plans and referrals
* Providing outreach services (e.g. school or home visits)
* Supporting individuals and families to develop life skills and strengthen relationships
* Liaising with child protection, youth justice and community agencies
* Maintaining accurate records, case notes and reports
To be successful in this role, you will have
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Community Services or equivalent
* Current National Police Check
* Valid QLD Blue Card (Working with Children)
* Current Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Strong communication, assessment and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client databases
