The **Quality Assurance Coordinator** role is an excellent **_entry level_** opportunity based in **Macquarie Park** to join our Abbott Medical team.
Reporting to the _Senior Quality Systems and Compliance _Manager, your role is to provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance Department by meeting ISO 9001:2015 requirements and complying with relevant policies and procedures.
Main responsibilities are, and not limited to:
- Perform local administrative activities designed to maintain the quality system and ensure alignment with current requirements
- Follow standard procedures or work instructions to fulfil Quality / Regulatory requirements and business needs, maintaining appropriate quality records on file.
- Implement continuous improvement activities through the change management process and/or Quality Plans
- Support the processes for Document Control and Records Information Management to ensure compliance to Quality System requirements
- Facilitate staff training relating to the Quality Management System using Learning Management System as the primary tool
- Facilitate the progress of Quality related projects and ensure that meeting minutes and action plans are prepared, regularly reviewed and actioned by process owners
- Identify and investigate quality issues through the CAPA process and facilitate the implementation of approved remedial plans with those responsible for the relevant functional area
- Support the auditing process for internal, external and supplier related reviews. Assisting with audit planning, audit responses, investigational activities, and the implementation of actions to resolve non-conformities identified during audit
- Support Post Market Surveillance activities for Australia and New Zealand
Who we’re looking for:
- Diploma or Tertiary qualifications; Life Sciences preferred
- Prior admin experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or life sciences industry will be desirable
- Awareness of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard is advantageous
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with solid presentation skills
- High willingness to learn and seek continuous improvement opportunities
- Ability to travel within Sydney
