Accountant for a Healthcare Company in Australia (Home Based Full Time)
Job Description
1. Bookkeeping & Ledger Maintenance: Record daily transactions, manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and update general ledgers.
2. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual reports, along with management summaries.
3. Tax Compliance: Handle BAS lodgment, GST, and ensure compliance with ATO regulations.
4. Payroll Administration: Process salaries, manage superannuation, and oversee statutory deductions.
5. Bank Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
6. Budgeting & Analysis: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and provide financial insights.
7. Internal Controls & Liaison: Implement internal controls and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
Skill Set
* Strong experience with MYOB Accountright Premiere software.
* Proven ability to manage bookkeeping, AP/AR, and general ledger updates.
* Expertise in preparing financial reports, including monthly and annual statements.
* In-depth knowledge of tax compliance, including BAS lodgment, GST, and ATO regulations.
* Experience in payroll administration, including processing salaries, superannuation, and statutory deductions.
* Ability to perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
* Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights.
* Familiarity with internal controls and coordinating with auditors and tax advisors.
* Must be a Filipino citizen and residing in the Philippines only.
