Senior Fleet Operations Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fleet professional to join our team as a Senior Fleet Operations Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our vehicle fleet.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of fleet management, including acquisition, utilization, maintenance, replacement planning, and compliance.
* Develop and administer fleet policy in support of operational continuity, sustainability, and optimizing total operating cost outcomes.
* Work closely with logistics, finance, regional directors, and external providers to deliver cost-effective and compliant outcomes.
* Lead improvements in fleet policy and practice while supporting the vital transport of pathology specimens that communities depend on every day.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or a combination of qualifications and substantial experience in fleet management and operations.
* Strong experience in fleet operations and management, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, disposal, and overall portfolio oversight.
* Proficient in corporate financial and administrative systems, with hands-on experience using fleet management and telematics platforms to support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
* Strong knowledge of the motor vehicle, fleet, and freight transport industries, with proven ability to engage effectively with suppliers, dealers, manufacturers, government bodies, contractors, and service providers.
