Our strength lies in the real‐world construction experience of our people. Backed by over 40 years' combined industry expertise, our multi‐disciplinary team supports clients on complex and high‐value projects by bringing clarity to time, risk, sequencing and methodology.
We value diversity of background and experience and actively support people who want to broaden their career beyond site‐based delivery into high‐end planning, programming and advisory roles.
We offer competitive remuneration, flexibility, mentoring and exposure to some of Australia's most complex projects.

* Quantity Surveyors / Contracts Administrators
* Construction Planners or Junior Planners
Ideally, you will have a strong grasp of construction methodology, sequencing and delivery and are looking to pivot into a specialist planning, programming and advisory career.
You will work alongside experienced programming consultants and be supported with structured mentoring and on‐the‐job development in planning systems, programme analysis and construction claims.
What You'll Be Doing

* Reviewing and understanding contractor construction methodologies and baseline programmes
* Assisting in the preparation, review and validation of construction, design and master programmes
* Analysing progress, identifying time risks, delays and sequencing challenges
* Preparing clear, professional project status commentary and reporting
* Supporting delay analysis, extension of time and time‐related claims assessments
* Attending meetings with clients, project managers, consultants and contractors
* Applying construction knowledge to provide practical, commercially sound time advice
* Developing skills in specialist planning and scheduling tools under guidance
Skills & Experience
We are open to a broad range of construction backgrounds. Suitable applicants will typically have:
* A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar
* 5+ years' experience in the Australian building or construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing, staging and on‐site delivery.
* Ability to read and interpret construction programmes and technical documentation.
* Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* A professional, collaborative approach to working with project teams.
* Experience with programming tools (Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, MS Project) is advantageous but not essential — training and mentoring will be provided for the right candidate.
* Previous experience in delay analysis, EOTs or claims is valued but not required.
Why Join RCP?
* Transition off site without losing technical credibility
* Work on complex, high‐profile projects across Australia.
* Receive mentoring from industry‐leading programming specialists
* Build specialist advisory skills with long‐term career pathways.
* Join a high‐performance, supportive and collaborative team.
At RCP, we believe the best planners are built from strong construction experience. If you understand how projects are actually delivered and want to turn that knowledge into high‐value advisory expertise, this role is for you.
