What s the role about?
As a Cloud Data Engineer, you ll play a key role in designing and implementing game-changing Data Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics solutions. From building pipelines to shaping data governance, your work will directly impact how businesses make decisions.
What makes you the perfect fit?
* Qualifications & Certs: Relevant tertiary degree plus credentials like Google Professional Data Engineer or AWS Data Analytics Specialty.
* Cloud Wizardry: Hands-on experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, Databricks, and tools such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
* Tech Know-How:
o Strong skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
o Expert in ETL processes and tools like Talend or Apache Beam.
o Workflow orchestration whiz (Terraform, Airflow).
o Master of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
o Desirable - knowledge/expertise with Geospatial Data
* Big Picture Thinker: A knack for solving complex problems, optimizing performance, and implementing scalable solutions.
* Team Player: You know how to talk the talk with data scientists, analysts, cloud architects, and business stakeholders.
* Agile Pro: Experience working in Agile environments with Atlassian or Azure DevOps.
