About our Team
Work on one of the most complex asset management environments in Australia. The Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) is responsible for delivering and sustaining the Australian Defence Force's most complex equipment — from naval vessels and aircraft to armoured vehicles and advanced electronic systems.
To support this mission, Defence is implementing a major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation centred on SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). This transformation underpins the Operate & Sustain Asset Value Chain — the end‐to‐end management of Defence equipment including engineering, maintenance, logistics, supply chain and asset performance.
The role sits within teams responsible for improving data integrity, analytics capability and information architecture supporting Defence equipment sustainment. You will work closely with engineers, logisticians, ICT specialists and sustainment managers to ensure that Defence's enterprise systems generate trusted information that supports operational decision‐making.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy working with complex operational systems and large datasets, and who are motivated by solving real‐world problems.
This role particularly suits individuals with backgrounds in:
* Business intelligence and analytics;
* Asset management systems;
* Engineering logistics or sustainment environments.
Experience in asset‐intensive industries will be highly regarded, including:
* Defence or military equipment sustainment;
* Aerospace, maritime or land systems;
* Resources or heavy industry;
* Utilities or energy infrastructure;
