Work hours:
Sunday to Thursday: 06.00 - 14.00 - this role requires Full Working Rights in Australia.
The Role:
As theCleaning Services Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of our cleaning team. You will be turning curious visitors into loyal customers whilst supervising and leading a team dedicated to providing award-winning retail customer service. You will be part of the Assetlink team with a key focus on developing a high performing cleaningteam, whilst efficiently managing all day‑to‑day cleaning operations, including but not limited to, stafftraining, cleaning service delivery tracking,rostering, auditingand many other day to day operational requirements. This role is based at the Canberra Centre.
Responsibilities:
* Managinga cleaning team
* Provide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training.
* Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences;
* Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting, assisting with staff rosters, etc;
* Meet and exceed contract cleaning requirements.
* Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client.
* Understand customer’s security, environmental and safety requirements.
* Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
* Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries
To be considered for the position you must have the following:
* A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in retail/commercial cleaning
* Previous experience managinga team
* Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery
* Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good administrative skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications;
* Ability to give direction and instruction to people.
* Ability to multi‑task, be flexible and work under pressure.
* Consistent attention to detail.
* Is available to work weekends.
