Join Coronado's Dragline Traineeship at Curragh Mine and develop into a skilled Dragline Operator with hands-on experience in coal mining operations
Coronado Global Resources is seeking experienced coal mining production operators to join our Dragline Traineeship at Curragh Mine, located near Blackwater in Queensland's Bowen Basin.
Following the successful commencement of the 2025 trainee intake, we are continuing to build dragline capability on site and are now seeking the next group of high-quality operators to progress through this pathway.
This is a two-year traineeship designed to train and develop future Dragline Operators. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced dragline crews and supervisors, with a clear pathway into a Dragline Operator role upon successful completion of the program.

About You
* Background in coal mining production operations
* Experience operating graders, dozers, or large excavators (400t+)
* Ability to read and follow mine designs and work instructions
* A strong safety mindset and commitment to working as part of a crew
* Motivation to learn, develop, and progress into a Dragline Operator role
This is not an entry level role. Applicants must have coal mining experience and dozer operating experience.
