We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around Bathurst and surrounding suburbs in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same
Day to day role looks like:
* Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
* Transport to appointments and shopping
* Meal preparation
* Social Support or Respite for family/carers
* Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
To be successful in this role you'll need:
* A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australian's in the community
* To be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
* Good communication skills
* To be a reliable team player
* To have an understanding of workplace health and safety
* Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
* An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
