About the role
We are seeking an experienced Laminated Benchtop Fabricator to join our dynamic team at Ross Joinery Kitchens' in Townsville, Queensland. This full-time role is integral to the production and installation of high-quality kitchen and bathroom joinery for residential and commercial clients.
What you'll be doing
1. Fabricate and assemble laminated benchtops to precise specifications and dimensions
2. Cut, edge, and profile benchtop materials using specialised power tools and equipment
3. Liaise with Project Managers and the Foreman to coordinate the delivery and installation process
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
5. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production team
What we're looking for
1. Experience as a Laminated Benchtop Fabricator or similar role in the Cabinet Making industry
2. Strong proficiency in the use of power tools and machinery for cutting, edging, and profiling benchtop materials
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
5. Strong time management and organisational abilities
6. Commitment to workplace health and safety
7. A collaborative approach to working within a team environment
