The Commercial Branch within the Virginia, Workforce and Commercial Division seeks talented and experienced commercial, procurement and contracting leaders at the EL 2 level.
As an EL 2 Commercial Director, you will lead a team of procurement and contracting professionals, driving innovative commercial outcomes across various roles including:
* Providing leadership and direction for integration and consistency across the ASA procurement and contracting function.
* Managing procurement planning, tendering, contract formation, and contract management activities while ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
* Accountable for managing and leading a team, providing clear communication, setting performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility, and guiding and developing people.
* Accountable for managing allocated resources, setting work area priorities, workflows, developing strategies, and evaluating business outcomes.
This role is eligible for a Building Capability Payment (BCP) that enables the agency to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary, for positions critical to capability.
The ASA Commercial Branch provides commercial services, supporting procurement activities from beginning to end, providing guidance, assurance, and advice on procurement-related matters, and engaging with specialised services as required.
