Key Requirements for the position are: Train junior kitchen staff Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitude Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality Overseeing all kitchen operations. Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required. Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items. Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock. Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen. Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh. Setting up workstations and operating kitchen equipment Measuring and weighing ingredients Following recipes and set menus Qualifications required - Relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications Permanent full time role with a starting salary of $76K - $80K Salary (plus super).
