Description
This role supports Council’s governance functions by providing expert advice on policies, delegations, privacy, conflict of interest and maintaining a range of governance registers. It is also responsible for managing access to information applications under theGovernment Information (Public Access) Act 2009.

We Are Seeking
Holds a relevant diploma or has equivalent professional experience in governance or a related field.Demonstrates strong experience providing governance advice and supporting governance frameworks.Possesses solid, contemporary knowledge of governance practices and legislative requirements.Has proven capability in managing access to information requests and applying the relevant excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare reports, collaborate effectively, influence stakeholders, and develop practical solutions.

This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
