UGL and CPB Contractors have been selected by Transgrid to deliver the ~140km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project. HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission project connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW, significantly increasing the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states. The West scope of works, worth $1.4bn, includes delivery of new 500kV double-circuit transmission lines spanning ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains.

Supervisor – Tower Assembly & Erection – onsite.
Responsibilities
5 years' experience in a similar role
Trade qualification
Supervisor Certificate
Strong communication skills (oral & written), negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels internally and externally
Demonstrated ability to work independently, organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands
Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Access, email
Qualifications & Experience (Preferred)
Extensive years construction quality and/or completions experience
Awareness of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems
ISO ****:**** Internal/Lead Auditor
Trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or transmission)
Proven inspector of final product and/or service and previous experience in quality function in renewable/utility EPCM projects
Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site
