Job Description
The Procurement Manager is part of our Store Planning team, dedicated to delivering architecturally distinctive stores across the globe. Each location is individually designed, showcasing a curated collection of vintage furniture, art, and sculpture - making every project both unique and highly considered.
The Store Planning team is responsible for bringing these spaces to life on time and within budget. This position will work closely with our in-house Project Management team, as well as external architectural partners, to oversee the procurement of both decorative and architectural elements.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of financial discipline, proven negotiation capability, and a solid understanding of construction and retail fit-out environments.
Job Requirements
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in procurement, construction cost management, retail fit-out, or a related field
* Strong negotiation skills with proven experience managing supplier and vendor relationships
* High level of financial acumen, including budget tracking and invoice validation
* Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing and contract management
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and drive cost efficiencies
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
* Experience working with architectural firms or within design-led environments is highly desirable
* Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational and follow-up capabilities
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced, international environment
* Collaborative approach with experience working cross-functionally across Design, Finance, Retail and Project teams
Job Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution strategies and policies
* Plan and execute procurement activities to ensure optimal delivery timelines at minimum cost
* Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
* Oversee storage and inventory systems to support on-time store openings within budget
* Maintain accurate tracking systems for all supply movements, orders and transit timelines
* Proactively manage ordering schedules to align with project deadlines
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
* Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless delivery of projects, often within tight timeframes
* Oversee and ensure accurate recording of all purchasing, storage and distribution transactionsEnsure products and services align with overall project and business objectives
