Clinical Nurse Consultant
We are seeking a clinical professional to provide advanced leadership and consultancy in the field of violence, abuse, and neglect.
As part of our team, you will lead professional service delivery, strategic direction, education, and expert care and consultancy within a model of care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing crisis responses, non-acute clinical care, and follow-up medical care and healthcare navigation to individuals affected by violence, abuse, and neglect.
* Providing forensic responses for victims of sexual assault.
* Leading service-level clinical leadership and development of the VAN clinical nursing field.
* Developing and implementing annual plans for the service.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant Australian health agency.
* Completed a graduate certificate in the medical and forensic management of adult sexual assault (or equivalent).
* Post-registration nursing qualifications relevant to the field of sexual assault, or other qualifications deemed appropriate.
* A minimum of seven years full-time equivalent post-registration experience and a minimum of five years clinical nursing experience in a relevant speciality.
