The Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia (AISWA) is the peak body representing and supporting independent schools across Western Australia. We have 166 member schools enrolling more than 90,000 students. AISWA plays a key role in advocating for and supporting the independent school sector.
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Accountant with a high level of attention to detail to support our finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial services. To be successful in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience in an accounting or finance support position, along with a strong understanding of financial processes and reporting.
Selection Criteria
* Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an accounting or finance support role.
* Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AAS) and basic taxation principles.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Demonstrated experience using ERP systems, with exposure to Microsoft Business Central preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively within a team environment.
