About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Business Development Executive. As a key member, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining long-term business relationships with small-medium size businesses in the transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment sectors.
You will identify new business opportunities, develop and maintain existing relationships, and work closely with other departments to ensure assets are prepared for auction. Your expertise will help us deliver value through relationships, simplicity, and expertise.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships
* Drive new business through cold calling and following up on leads from existing clients
* Conduct effective face-to-face and/or online meetings to sell the right solutions
* Conduct inspections and/or valuations of trucks and machinery
* Work within the branch and the wider team on inspection and sale days
About You:
We're looking for someone with knowledge of transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment, proven experience in sales and new business development (desired), and outstanding customer service, time management, and solutions-focused skills.
