ABOUT US
We are seeking an Experienced Handyperson/Carpenter for an immediate start to join our team. Our business has been established for 8+ years and has continued to have a regular flow of work from Real Estates, Residential & Commercial clients. This is a permanent full time position and standard working weeks are 38 hours with no weekend work.
ABOUT YOU
* Applicant must be experienced and competent in multiple facets of maintenance and home renovation knowledge and skills
* Be able to use their own initiative & work alone, as well as work with other team members, possess a strong work ethic with excellent time management skills
* Possess great communication skills both written and verbal and have a willingness to provide a high level of service
* Must have all tools required to do the role and have their own suitable vehicle and hold a current drivers licence
* Hold a White Card, Blue Card and have a Police Check (or working towards)
THE ROLE
Our workload varies from day to day and can include everything from general Real Estate repairs and maintenance, residential small handyman repairs to larger projects such as deck, pergola builds and kitchen installs as well as commercial jobs such as office fit outs and repairs.
The applicant will need to be familiar with the following (but not limited to) -
* Changing lights bulbs, painting/plastering, minor carpentry and some minor plumbing, door replacements, wall repair/patching, small tiling jobs, pressure washing and small garden maintenance, furniture assembly, picture hanging and installation of fixtures (towel rails, clotheslines, curtain rods) and kitchen and laundry renovations
